The Quest
When the sun goes down, the Khao Sok rainforest switches to night mode. At Jungle Roots Resort, our walking night safari departs at 19:30 for around two hours of torchlight wildlife spotting with an experienced guide.
Look for tree frogs, sleeping birds, stick insects, spiders and, with luck, a slow loris or civet. Prefer the water? Our canoe night safari starts at 19:00 and glides silently along the river, with an optional bamboo cooking and campfire dinner.
